Evil or Funny: A Lesson About Extreme Confidence
When I was 12 I did something evil.
Actually it wasn’t just me, it was my me and
my older brother (he was 14 yrs old)…
We played a trick on our friend. He was a funny
guy but not really good with the girls.
It just so happen that our female cousin
was visiting us for a few days (who happens
to be really attractive) and we instructed
her to PRETEND to like him…
So here’s the scene…
Terry (our friend) is in the bedroom with
our female cousin and they are just chatting.
My brother and I are peeking through the door
spying on them and admiring our “Evil Prank”
From time to time she’ll look at him and
lick her lips… or look him up and down…
…or say something like: “There is something about
you that I really like.”
And we would be “air-giggling” and giving each
other silent high-fives…
This went on for about 20 minutes…
You may think we were evil, but
trust me, it was FUNNY!!
Then when he had to get ready to leave, we
pulled himself aside and chatted with him…
…just to see what he would say…
Imagine how hard it was for me and my brother
to hold in our laughs when he said:
“I think your cousin REALLY likes me.”
Personally, I’m one the worst “laugh-suppressors”
on the planet…
His response: I’m dead serious!
We never had the heart to tell him about the
prank… so to this day, he STILL doesn’t know…
Anyway something happened…
Take a guess!
After that “experience/prank”, Terry started to have
very attractive girlfriends…
….that REALLY liked him…
This wasn’t part of the prank!
This wasn’t really funny..
My guess (and I’m almost certain) that the “prank”
gave him “confidence”…
I wish I realized at 12, that “confidence” was an
EXTREMELY MAGICAL ingredient that has a powerful
affect on women…
I was slow.
I realized this YEARS later…
