[Video] Is this going TOO FAR?
The video will begin with a quit smoking ad.
This will give you time to go to the bathroom,
fix a cold glass of water, fix a peanut butter
and jelly sandwich or grab a cigarette…
(Ok Seriously)
After you watch the video (which will reveal
a NEW DISCOVERY in field of neuroscience)
think about:
1. Would YOU use this new technology to
seduce a woman?
2. Or is it going TOO FAR?
Let me know (send me your response => crjames100@gmail.com)
I would love to hear your thoughts…
(Because according to the scientist in the video, this
may actually be available in 5 – 10 years!!!)
(Send me your response => crjames100@gmail.com)
I would love to hear your thoughts…

Far out. It is going to happen regardless of our wishes and comments. I am sure this is the time for us to invest in some sort of shielding designer head wear and/or brain implant stock! I am all in favor of technology and increasing knowledge and understanding. The fact that it gets used unscrupulously is unfortunate but also unavoidable. Better ethics and moral training would help some…

that’s funny. i was also thinking about a “brain shield” counter-product.

These comments of which “they” make, jump too redammly over every and each topic, like their research, I truly believe all of the topic items have been too acceptable in these decussions.
too bad science is willing to surrander ethics over selling a way too early in it’s services. Only they will win their objective, to allow only parts of the sciences which have been successful rather than maintain a attitude of research and development, notice the women in India? She is now in prison because the justice system use science over her lack of a fair trial, even she most likely didn’t understand the sciences which was used against her, right or wrong in her actions!
the science community is will to surrandur their community members over maintaining a “lead” in development!
already, the governing globally has acted in pushing the mis-use of early research and development, in it’s early stages, unknown to it’s abused ones, they won’t have a chance in the best case, even.
I feel anyone who won’t maintain a following in these fields, will lose their their justice(s)
each and every governing Nation will shoot and ask questions lat’r
Native people all over the world will be one of those losers, becase none of them have the funding capacity to even agrue their cases, and they will automaticly lose,…an other evolutionary victor for gov’t who oppose the disadvanagted, through access of these technologies, but knowing this prepares those who want to maintain better use of technologial efforts, and the oness is on those who this knowledge,…great knowledge to have other wise.

I think it depends on who will use that tech. … and for what purpose … win win solution, or selfish goal … the thing that really struck me when they mentioned that tech. could be use to sell things to people … I think that smells trickery / manipulation … and maybe … if they use that tech. for a lot of things that can influences a lot of our pop culture … it can also be really bad for our future. Especially if the one that using it denies it, so people not aware when they are being mind reading by other people / company for their own selfish goal.
If the government use it to reduce terrorists / the police man try to figure it out if the guy really are the villain … than that’s fine. Because, we know they has that tech. in their disposal, and we know that they use it for good purpose. Not to manipulate.
And … this one also concern me … if the court system depends 100% on that system to reads people mind when they try to judges them … it can be really bad … because, who knows if that system has bug in it, there is some malfunction when they run that thing, there are other 1000 things that they didn’t know before / “X” element … etc2. And, the judge blindly put the death sentence on the poor guy. LOL. if they just use that tech.. to accompany the other system / how to find the truth method … then its fine.
I don’t think its wise to come out with an answer / conclusion based on using only that tech. Things happen, mistake were made, be careful … especially with new tech.
But, can this tech. help us with women … LOL
Instructor CR James | Reply
yeah mickel it seems premature to rely exclusively on this technology to be convict someone…
as far as using it on women, it think it would perfectly fine…as long as you can prove you were in an embarrassingly long slump…lol

CR,
Thanks.
I have read about this before.
I actually saw an MRI of my youngest daughter’s brain some 20 years ago (she had gotten beaned trying out for Little League).
What these guys are saying is that they can see what happens, physically, in the brain when thinking is going on, but there is no way that they can ever program every possible thought into a computer so that it can recognize exactly what someone is thinking, and that’s what they would have to do in order to read minds.
Actually, people, right now, have the ability to “read” other people’s minds and emotions, to some extent, by tuning into them and “vibing” with them. I can do it at times, and not at other times.
Personally, like many other men, I have often wished I could “hear” women’s thoughts the way Mel Gibson’s character could in the movie, “What Women Want,” but I don’t know whether I would want to use any kind of technology for seducing women. Perhaps, thirty or forty years ago, I would have done so, were the opportunity available.
Today, I would hope that I am strong enough to resist that kind of thing, because it feels pretty sleazy. But, pussy be pussy, so the temptation would always be strong.
However, I don’t think the scientists will ever get there.
I hope not, because before it ever becomes available to the general public, the “Thought Police” would be using it against all of us, for our own good, of course.
Thanks, again, CR.

good response…
you’re right. they would have to program every possible thought during the “training phase” which could take awhile.. lol

was that a pun where you said “I would love to hear your thoughts…” lol

I wasn’t able to listen to the whole video (I have dial-up), but I think I was able to listen to enough to get the gist of it — a new technology that enables us to read another person’s thoughts.
And an interesting question, CR >>>>>>> and a person’s answers would certainly reveal that person’s character, wouldn’t it: “If you had technology to enable you to read a woman’s thoughts, would you use that to seduce her — or do you think that is going too far.”
First, this uses an MRI which is the most expensive medical diagnostic test available, even though it has been in use for many years and is well known. Therefore, I doubt that this test would be available for the common person to use, especially for something as mundane as trying to seduce another person. It might be used for interrogating terrorists or something along that line, I think, but not in our normal everyday lives —- but even then it seems to register only general reactions to a particular stimulus rather than specific thoughts.
IF it were to become available to use in our everyday lives and available to be used for something as idiotic as a man trying to seduce a woman, I believe that:
• The man might find out that he really doesn’t want to know what a woman REALLY thinks about him … rather like some of Jim Carry’s comedy movies (i.e.: how much of a jerk she thinks he is … and “not in a thousand years and if he were the last man on the face of the earth” …… and so on). There are some things we are better off not knowing … and that it is a kindness for someone not to tell us.
• That people would come to understand the dangerous power that it gives a person and would regulate it much as we do with guns, martial art fighting ability, and other weapons. Just like any thing else, it depends on the person using it whether or not it is used for good or evil — and laws are meant to control the people who would use it to take advantage of or harm another person in any other way, not those who would use it to help someone.
• And, to turn the tables, it would also be available for women to use to know what men are thinking —- like if a man is trying to manipulate her to get her into bed …. or to use and/or abuse her in any other way ~~~ like a married woman knowing when a man is trying to get her to cheat on her husband or a “good girl” knowing when a man is trying to get her to compromise her morals, ethics, choices, and convictions and to use her (or, as you’d shared in one of your letters, a similarly ethical man with a predatory woman). (Boy, I wish I’d had something like that with some of the unconscionable cads that I’ve known; they’d’ve been wearing my boots LONG before they actually did !!!!!!!!!)
But going past the logical points of having such a device in every day use, “Do I think that using it to seduce a woman is going too far?”
Yes, indeed I do — and that only the most despicable low-life and gutter-rat uses brain-control techniques of any kind to control and get his/her way with other person — regardless of whether that person is a stranger or a spouse.

Would I use this? I’d like to say no, but if I did, I know I would be lying (no brain scan required). Would I use it all the time? No. But there would be times I’m sure it would come in very handy.
Say a particular girl you’re interested in continually shuts you down. However, you have that hunch that she likes you but she’s just hiding it. You continually try to call her out on it, but she still does not admit to it or show any signs of interest.
That’s where the brain scan would come in handy, if it actually worked that way, and if they could get it to work well enough.
Now could you actually tell her you know and break out the brain scan images and stuff like that and say “here’s proof that you like me, I know it and you know it”? REALLY doubt it. Pretty sure that would seem really “stalkerish” and really yes it is. I think in a sense of the pick up game, it would really be more for your knowledge than anything else. Once you see she is actually interested in you, you could play it slow and stay persistent with her until she cracks (if she does) if you really like her that much.
It looks like this would be a way to avoid those thoughts you have “down the road” about the girl you thought you let get away.
I’m sure you’ve had that feeling.
However… Who said that feelings can’t change?
That just means she doesnt like you right now. Keep being persistent and she may cave in. Sometime later on, you can do another scan and if she doesnt like you, you can give up and not have to worry about letting a really great one slip through your fingers.
Just a thought, but honestly, I think this is just too much and will be used for the wrong purposes. I can see it already. The government will abuse this, as will many many people that have access to it. Yes it’s a huge break though, but it just shouldn’t come to be. Our thoughts are supposed to be the one thing people cant get from us. And then whats next? Is it going to turn into something like in the movie Minority Report where you can be arrested before you even commit a crime? While sure it might be good, but what happens when a mistake is made? Nothing is 100% there is always the .01% of error.
Just my two cents.

Hey Travis
Thanks for the brutally honest response.
I like your answer…
You bring up an interesting point about the error possibility. I never thought about that.
Because it would have to suck to “think” you are dealing with a woman who is absolutely crazy over you (but hiding it) – when it reality she finds you annoying and creepy.
And she’s serious when she says: “Will you please stop showing up a job! I don’t like you. I don’t know how else to say it.”
Meanwhile, the guy is just smiling, making arrogant comments and (what he believes to be) funny comments…

Crazy stuff!! I don’t mind the technology I think it is great. I just worry about what the powers to be will do with it. Who will be allowed to use it and how. Travis has a point when he says “I think this is just too much and will be used for the wrong purposes. I can see it already. The government will abuse this, as will many many people that have access to it…” Plus some people’s brain’s wiring is so f***ed up that this machine will go on the fritz try to read them. Either way, is life not more interesting with the element of mystrey anyhow? I say it should be used for entertainment purposes and… ocassionally as a suplimentary (not replacement, just validation) law enforcement tool.

Hi
Is it really so hard to seduce women that we need this technology?
OK, more seriously, there are times that I would give anything to know what she’s thinking but isn’t the absence of knowledge exactly what makes relationships mysterious and exciting? When I’ve been with women that I’ve know would die for me my response has been a little less than passionate. Consider the girl who I think might, just might, like me… then I’m on fire.
And do we really want to know that we are loved or do we want to feel loved, more importantly be loved the way we want to be loved?
I wouldn’t use this technology to seduce a woman but it might be useful for confirming that she’s not cheating and that I’m not paying to raise a child that’s not mine (without having a choice about it).
Cheers
Joe

really great response joe!
it’s the struggle between respecting the ‘thought’ privacy of the
female and wanting to know (or feeling entitled to know).
Joe | Reply
No worries.
As I’m sure you know there are several ways to see others as less human than ourselves, basically (I’m) better-than, (I’m) worse-than, (I) must-be-seen-as and I’m-entitled. When we feel entitled to something it’s because we’re seeing the other person as merely an object and that always leaves them cold.
After all we’re not going around saying that the others are entitled to read our thoughts, we’re reserving that privacy for ourselves.

Would I ever use this technology? If it were cheap and easy to use, I honestly don’t know. But a few months ago my daughter had an MRI with an MSRP (before the insurance company applied its “discount”) of about $15K. It’s hard to believe that this is going to become available and affordable anytime soon.
When you consider how few guys learn to read body language and translate subtext, I’m guessing that there won’t be a big market for this in the seduction community in my lifetime.
But the thought that government (which has been intent on minimizing personal freedom and privacy for many years) might have this tool scares the hell out of me.
